During an interview with Bump Love, Comedian Anne Kansiime came out about the major reason why she had broken up with her ex hubby Ojok. Many had come up with wild imaginations about why the couple had suddenly split up but none of them were apparently true. According to Kansiime, one day she told Ojok that she didn’t see marriage among her future plans and he just brushed it off. Yes, Kansiime on many occasions has mentioned how she doesnt consider marriage to be an important aspect to a relationship.
According to Kansiime, she said when she told Ojok about this important belief of hers, he thought she was in comic mode. She mentioned that he mistook it for comedy and immediately told her off, telling her not to joke about everything in life since not everything was comedy. The comedian said it’s that response from her former husband that led to the breakup.
"If I can have such an absolutely honest conversation with you who I think is the man going to be in my life and you don't even take me seriously enough to judge me and quarrel about it, but you think i'm being funny. it's then that I knew that this has got to end,” kansiime narrated.
She however mentioned that her ex hubby was not a bad person but rather a very gentle man. After breaking up with Ojok, Anne Kansiime started dating Skylanta, with whom they welcomed their first child in May of 2021. Skylanta, was initially an employee at her recreational facility called The Kansiime Backpackers in Kabale.
"I met Sky through my sister... He didn't have a job, so when I met him, it was like I consumed all his time. He is hilarious. He is talented. He is an amazing human being." She mentioned
She went on to say that during the time she confided in Skylanta, she ended up falling for him even without realizing she was falling in love with him, something that she says caught her off guard. Kansiime mentioned that this was the time she decided to have a child because she wanted to always have a reminder of the gentleman who had been there for her through thick and thin to support her even if she did not expect to spend the rest of her life with him.
She disclosed however that she still doesn't believe in the idea of marriage and Skylanta does not pressure her into thinking of it but rather keeps on supporting her through everything.
