Everyday that passes, the race for UMA - Uganda Musicians Association presidency gets hotter.
Artists have since taken sides of who they support whereas others have chosen to remain silent about their choice. In the same line, they are some others that are choosing none of the candidates for the top office in the Musicians Association. It’s clear that Cindy Sanyu and King Saha are contesting for the presidential seat. Latest news on ground is singer Bebe Cool who has since aired his opinions about the candidates, Cindy and King Saha.
While appearing on popular gossip TV show Uncut, Bebe Cool said that both candidates are unfit for the position. In his rant, Bebe says Cindy as the immediate past president failed to unite all musicians and the reason for this is because she lacks checks and Balances. He added that Cindy put everyone that disagreed with her to war.

On the other hand, the Gagamel boss revealed that King Saha’s image is not befitting for UMA president. Bebe Cool questioned how a man who openly confesses his weed smoking habits on national Television can lead an entire body of Musicians! Bebecool was however clear that although he’s not in support of both Cindy and Saha, If they are the only ones available for the position, he will openly choose Cindy over Saha.
