Well, news on the block shows that Former Firebase crew singer, Buchaman wants to be welcomed back into with his old crew, The Firebase Crew! Buchaman who has been and is still serving as President Yoweri Museveni’s advisor on ghetto affairs says he would wish to make amends with his former boss and friend Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine.
Buchaman made it clear that he recognizes the damage that has been done to his friendship with Bobi Wine over the past years which has been partly his fault but he would like to walk past all that and reconcile. The two have become looking at each other daggers since Buchaman crossed over to the ruling NRM government.
Buchaman however is bothered by the fact that he does not even know how to contact the NUP leader to ask for forgiveness. He mentioned that it seems like there is no turning back and the bridges have already been burnt. He also stated that he can not even contact him via phone because he does not know his number.
“There is nothing I can bring back now. I don't even have his number. And you know, you cannot just pick up a phone and get to him. I don't even know which line he is using. I am just waiting for him to call me.” He said.
He then revealed that people are deceived by the fact that he works with government but in reality, he earns very little money. He mentioned that the Presidential Advisor job pays little and that he never gets to meet or speak directly with the president. He mentioned that it is even turning into a burden because youths expect so much from him yet he is not the one that calls all the shots.
“I just see him like you in the media. I have written to him many times but I don't know if he sees the messages. I am tired of this situation of advising the president through social media. All these youths from different corners of the country come to me asking about the presidential pledges and I have to help them,” he said.
