Buganda has finally broken it's silence on what is happening in central Uganda right now.
In a letter from the office of the Katikiro of Buganda Owekitibwa Charles Peter Mayiga has shown disgust and called out the police to stop killing innocent civilians.
As we speak now, 40 people have been reported to be dead and these include men, women and children.
In the letter, the kingdom has also asked for fairness when it comes to campaigns because it is the opposition being tortured mostly.
They included saying they have seen people of Gulu and people of other areas making parties and moving in crowds but no one touched them since the police is using the excuse of corona virus to desperse crowds yet Kampala is being deployed with both the police and army.
