WATCH VIDEO: Catholic priest compares good Alien skin music to Gravity's vulgar songs
A Catholic priest who is from a yet to be identified church has come out and torn rapper Gravity Omutujju into pieces, saying he is famous for singing ‘useless’ songs with nonsensical lyrics.
Gravity is one musician who is known for singing unserious but humorous music, but this has landed him in trouble with a catholic priest who was preaching about the message artists pass out in their music. Shockingly, the priest praised Alien Skin, who seems to sing a similar style with rapper Gravity.
The priest however threw jabs at Gravity Omutujju who he says sings ‘useless’ music. He gave simple examples of Gravity’s hit songs ‘Enyama’ and Okwepicha’ and questioned the message in the songs, calling them vulgar and useless.
He said that when you ask Gravity about the songs, he will say he meant the real meat in ‘Enyama’ and he meant taking photos when he sung ‘Okwepicha’ but, the priest hinted that when you keenly listen to the songs, the message is totally different.
Gravity stays strong to defending his music, saying his lyrics are plain, simple and non vulgar but it is listeners that interpret his music in a vulgar way, something that everyone blames him for, instead of blaming his fans.
