Yesterday night every Ugandan's hairs stood straight on attention as the man with a lion's heart Joshua Cheptegei smashed the unbelievable men's 10,000 metres world record in the Valencia Spain ????????, after electrically and majestically crossing the finish line in a stunning 26 minutes 11.02 seconds.
After smashing Kenenisa Bekele's record of 26:17:53 he set 2005, it automatically ranked Joshua Cheptegei the 10th man to grasp the 5,000-metre and 10,000-metre world records simultaneously.
Its imperative to note that Joshua shattered the 5,000-metre world record in Monaco earlier this year with an emphatic record 12:37.35 which after saw him on track yesterday on Wednesday to achieve global domination.
