Cindy Sanyu is way up there when it comes to skimpy dressing and dirty dancing when it comes to stage performances. She has been a diva for quite a long time so she knows what dominates her audience and how she goes about her stage performances. Cindy Sanyu recently let her mother instincts guide her during her concert when a young girl stepped on stage and started doing the dirty dancing.
Cindy Sanyu was shocked to see Rema K, a primary three pupil coming into the stage and rummaging her mature crowd of revelers. Cindy almost dropped her jaw when she noticed that the girl was actually performing for revelers at midnight yet she should be back home resting up in preparation for school the next day.
As if that blow was not enough, Cindy witnessed as the girl turned on her heels and started dirty dancing Infront of her crowd, a crowd that was cheering her on. As a mother, Cindy could not take it any more so she intervened by throwing the young kid off the stage, interrupting her performance.
Cindy mentioned that in the wee hours of the night, a you g child like her should be in the comfort of her bed and the safety of her parent's house. Cindy mentioned that she could not just sit by and watch a young child sexualizing her performance all because she wanted to please the adult fan base. Cindy apologised for her spontaneous act and mentioned that the mother in her could not stand and just watch.
“I would much love to support this girl but I can’t tolerate seeing her on this stage at midnight. I’m so sorry that I had to chase her off stage. But as a mother, I can’t tolerate seeing a young girl in the wee hours of the night performing for a mature audience while sexualizing her performance." Cindy said.
Cindy mentioned that parents should let their kids live as kids because such a stage was not meant for a young girl her age. She encouraged that she could perform at children's shows rather than vome out there and perform mature content. She went ahead to mention that for the you g children below 18,they were not allowed on her stage.
That’s robbing her of her childhood, it’s taking away her innocence. I hope she’s left to live as a kid. And I wouldn’t want to be the one stopping young talent from getting a platform but as a mother, I just couldn’t. I know she will thank me later in future." Cindy added
