The revelers who attended the Douglas Lwanga Purple party in Mbale witnessed a legendary scene unfold before them as Eddy Kenzo was nearly taught Kampala by a fan who tried to dip his hands in Kenzo's pocket to steal from him in the guise of partying with him.
Kenzo was dominating the stage and as he vibes to his song 'Bibawo' a shirtless gentleman jumped onto the stage in a bid to get close to Eddy Kenzo. The body guard who is ever alert must have smelt something fishy with the way this fan was eager to get on stage and he tried to stop this strange gentleman.
Kenzo, however did not want to look like a showoff so he stopped the body guard, telling him to let his fan enjoy the moment. With rare dance styles, he was able to get close to Eddy Kenzo, his prey.
In just a few minutes, the two gentlemen were hugging each other and jumping around the stage. Thinking that he had trapped his prey, the shirtless man then tried to dip his hand in Eddy Kenzo's pocket, thinking he could not notice what was going on.
Kenzo proved his predator wrong because he immediately sensed the hand in his pocket and pulled away. He ashamed the pick pocket by telling him he was on the street longer than him and he could never be robbed in such a foolish way. Kenzo then threw this fake fan off the stage.
"I slept on the streets for thirteen years! You might have not been on the streets for even a year. You cannot snatch anything from my pockets without me noticing. I was the champ in that game because that’s what I used to do to earn a living,” the Big Talent boss lectured the shamed street hustler, before he harshly sent him off the stage
