The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has been accused of stealing money meant for players
According to Dennis Onyango, the goalkeeper for the Uganda cranes, each player is supposed to receive 1 million Uganda shillings per month.
However, none of them have seen this money at all.
He also added that the jerseys the players wore at their previous games were not provided by FUFA but the players bought them with their own money.
One of the players Suliaman Mutyaba who had started an assembly demanding for their money was beaten at the FUFA offices and will today report to the police about what happened to him.
Now Moses Magogo, the current head of FUFA has replied to all the players saying they play horrible football and don't deserve the money.
"Players deserve money if they have something to show that they worked for it. They have failed to qualify for most things or have no trophy to show they are worth that money."
He also added that some of the players should have retired five years ago and need to retire before 2026.
