When Frank Walusimbi ceased work at the Serena based Television station, NTV Uganda, many did not know he was off to greener pastures or we could say he had landed himself a better and more prestigious job.
Frank Walusimbi took to his Twitter to announce that he took on a new job as the new Associate Communications Officer at UNHCR (United Nations Commissioner for Refugees) which is a humanitarian organization meant to aid refugees and Internally displaced people to protect them and observe their rights.
"Folks, I took on a new role as Associate Communications Officer @UNHCRuganda,” Walusimbi announced on Sunday.
Walusimbi mentioned that he was very grateful for all the support over the years he has been in media and for all the best wishes that were sent his way by all his colleagues as well as his loyal viewers when the discovered he was leaving NTV Uganda.
"For some days now, I have been fathoming out the appreciation and best wishes you sent out to me when I announced that I had ceased my duties at NTV. Words alone cannot express my gratitude,” he said,
