Yesterday was a special day in the history of musician Gravity Omutujju in terms of speaking English.
Gravity was attending a Sunday church service on invitation of Pr. Wilson Bugembe at Bugembe's home. The Pastor who was surprised to see the musician after not expecting him to honour his invite, called him up at the front where he was standing.
Gravity will all his humility came forward and was officially welcomed to the church service and it's here where he was handed a Bible to read out a certain scripture to the small audience in attendance and all those watching live from home.
At first I thought Gravity was going to fight with English from the holy book since we all know that he is found of speaking broken English especially in his songs such as the one titled "Broken English" that he sang in 2015.
To my surprise and that of the whole nation, the man read the scriptures coming from the book of Genesis so smoothly without any mistake or delay that one could think he attained his education from England near where the queen stays.
So Gravity who is also a senior four drop out has been lying to us all this while that his English is bad yet it is actually very smooth.
