Veteran singer Hajji Haruna Mubiru has recently been made to appear before police on claims that he had stolen land from a particular family. The land in question is the land where one of his assets, a restaurant known as H/M restaurant is situated. It is alleged that he did not acquire this land legitimately as he stole it from the family that owns it.
Haruna Mubiru's lawyer has however come out to disregard the rumor that the land was indeed stolen as be provided some answers about the land wrangles. According to the lawyer, Haruna Mubiru bought off the lad in a legitimate manner from a lady but apparently, the lady did not alert her children that she had sold off the land.
The siblings went to report to police, mentioning that their land was stolen and that they could not rest until they recovered their land from the hands of the thief. They went ahead to all alledge that Haruna had kidnapped their mother and made her sell him the land.
Fortunately, the lady in question also reported to police and mentioned that there was no such thing as kidnap but rather she had sold off the land to Haruna without being forced by anyone. She mentioned to the kid that the land in question does not belong to any of them as it did not belong to their late father but she had full ownership of the land so she could do with it as she saw fit.
However much the kids were disappointed, they could not raise any more qualms because it was their mother that explained to the police officers about the entire situation.
