Yesterday campaigns for the presidential seat were kick-started and the 11 candidates went to different districts in search for votes.
Today marked day two and while others continued, youngest candidate Katumba John was in downtown hustling to repair his phone!
Katumba was meant to be in Kiryandongo today but couldn't. "I want to extend my sincere apologies to my supporters in Kiryandongo district who were eagerly waiting for me today. My phone got a malfunction early in the morning and I lost communication, so I had to rush to downtown to repair it.
Fortunately, my loving people collected money and bought for me a brand new phone and I'm now back on air. I promise my supporters in Kiryandongo that I know your trials and we'll be together very soon." Said a rather sad Katumba John.

This comes hours after city pastor, Mondo donated a car to Katumba so as to ease his search for votes.
