The youngest presidential candidate in this year's campaign, Katumba John continues to gain momentum everyday that goes by. From "katumba oyeeee", to holding rallies at petrol stations, using "mukalakasa" for campaigns, asking for aid from supporters among others.
The recent addition to his news making run is having gotten a blue tick on his Twitter account. With less than 8k followers and having an account that's barely a year old, the 24 year old presidential aspirant is already soring high among the few Ugandans with the blue tick.
This not only added to his popularity but also his stature because when one has a verified account in Ug, they have to really make it worth it and the man himself already started working on it by sending"shout outs", promoting online businesses among others.
