The untimely death of Sheikh Nooh Muzaata has left many Ugandans devastated and in sorrow. Among these is presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi who was a very good friend to the now deceased.
"What a sad day for me! What a sad day for the Muslim fraternity! What a sad day for our country! I am still lost for words. It is difficult to come to terms with the fact that you are no longer in our midst, but that is life. From Allah (SWT) we come, and to Allah (SWT) we return. Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un"- posted Kyagulanyi.
Due to this death, Kyagulanyi has decided to postpone his campaigns for tomorrow in order to mourn Muzaata's death.
" Tomorrow, we were supposed to be in Bulambuli, Bukedea and Ngora with our message of freedom. However, in light of the untimely passing of our esteemed elder Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata, we are rescheduling this program to be able to mourn with his family and loved ones. "- he then added.
At the time of his death, Muzaata was the spokesperson of the Kibuli faction and has been known for unapologetically speaking his mind, approaching and addressing rather sensitive issues without fear.
