Yesterday while giving his end of year speech at his home in Magere, presidential candidate and NUP party leader Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu launched an app that's meant to monitor the voting come 14th/January/2021.
The app called UVote is yet to be available on playstore but in no time will be uploaded and available for download. However, a few smart brains have already got the app and it's busy circulating in WhatsApp groups and other social media platforms.
During the launch, Kyagulanyi said the app will be able to record and monitor election results countrywide. It will also be the party's tally center run by a team of digital experts.
The NUP supporters have come out in large numbers to embrace the innovation and eagerly waiting to download the app. They've however expressed their worry that their app might be hacked into as it was to their various online pages and YouTube channels, the crimes which they attribute to the ruling party.
Surely this election is going to be like no other. We at Nowviba encourage you to go out and vote for your favorite candidate as it's your constitutional right as a citizen.
