Yesterday former Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) president, Rt. Col. Dr. Kiiza Besigye came out and confirmed receiving positive remarks for fellow leader in the struggle, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu.
The four times presidential candidate stated that the National Unity Platform (NUP) party leader expressed no remorse towards the formation of a new movement, People's Front for Transition, with the slogan 'Twerwaneko.'
The movement was spearheaded by Dr. Besigye and other members of the opposition, exclusive of NUP members. This had raised questions among political observers but it looks like the storm is now about to calm.
"During today's afternoon, I got message from Hon. Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert a.k.a Bobi Wine welcoming me and others back from the launching of the new movement. He expressed his concern towards people who've come out to attack us on social media and said attacking those who take part in the struggle doesn't help." Said Dr. Besigye.
