Karole Kasita, the dancehall sensation who broke through the music industry with her 2018 single 'Yaka' which also featured Kenyan musicians Arrow Boy and Red San recently launched her new album dubbed 'The Limited Edition' at Imperial Royale Hotel in Kampala. She invited famous artistes as well as her close friends to share the joy with her.
Some of the celebrities that attended the launch include MC Kats, Douglas Lwanga, Nina Roz, Hellen Lukoma and Rickman Manrick. In attendance was also the beautiful song bird, Lydia Jazmine who is known to be rare on occasions such as this one.
On the album, which took two years to produce, Kasita features two Ugandan musicians, that is Eddy Kenzo, who is a well known award winner and Frank Mukiisa, aka Feffe Bussi who was also in attendance. Fefe Bussi mentioned that he was very glad to be part of he ceremony.
Most revelers were most shocked to see Lydia Jazmine, who has been battling ulcers for the past few days. She mentioned that despite her ill health, she had to step out and show support to Karole Kasita who has always been supportive of fellow artistes and has never disappointed any.
It's today that I left home. I have not left home since Sunday. I had my last [medical] drip yesterday. Karole supports musicians. You see her everywhere," said Jazmine
She went ahead to mention that Karole even attends all her birthdays however much it is not very important of a function and even other musicians can testify that once there is an event, Karole always shows up. She never disappoints.
"She has no problem... I have seen her at all my birthday parties. Not only that. Every function you organise, Karole will be there."
