In August, Martha Kay left Netizens whispering when she posted photos of a 2016 Land Rover Range Rover Sport valued at about USD55,500(Approximately 210m Ugx) and told her followers that she had bought it. It was all glamour and joy as she gave bright smiles to the camera, posing i front of the car as well as taking pictures inside of it. Martha Kay had the life many dreamt of getting.
Some congratulated of her fans congratulated her whole heartedly while others dismissed her claims arguing that her salary cannot even buy her such a car. Others resulted to calling her a coochie trader because she had to have a hefty income in order to purchase that car. Oke of her greatest tormentors was former Sanyu FM presenter, Fatboy who weighed into the debate and claimed that her "Nyash" had to be the one that secured her the Range Rover.
Only a few weeks after, Martha Kay took to her social media and cried out to the public, saying that her car had been stolen. Later, however, she told her followers that she had recovered it thanks to a particular tracking company, whose name she joyously mentioned.
All in all, it was later discovered that being a brand ambassador, Martha had a gig to promote the tracking company she had mentioned. Well her fans did not receive the news well as they were disappointed in her for lying to them and treating them like fools. Two months down the road, a one Mr-Mugii,a twitter famous gentleman took to twitter and taunted Martha kay asking if any one remebers the name of the car tracking company which she so struggled to promote with the whole car saga.
"Who even remembers the name of the other car tracking company????”, Mugii posted.
Sheila Gashumba rushed and commented with laugh emojis, a thing that didn’t go well with Martha Kay. Martha then retorted to Sheilah Gashumba and Mr-Mugii asking them if it was funny. She then reminded them that at least they are thinking about it in their free time,a sign that her advertisement had an effect.
