News on the block shows that Mudra D viral has come out to accuse singer Karole Kasita of being a very ungrateful musician because despite having made a lot of sacrifices for her among which includes writing all her hit songs, she was still unappreciative of him!
According to Mudra, when he wrote Karole Kasita's hit song Yaka, he was excited that all the sacrifices he had made were finally going to pay off. Viral had quit a well-paying sales job in a company that makes Com Foam mattresses to return to the slums and nurture his music career at that time.
According to him, Kasita was his best shot at success as a lyric master but she never did appreciate his hard work as he had expected. With an undergraduate degree in International business from Makerere University Business School Mudra wrote the song and his brother Ibrahim who happens to be a gospel singer suggested the title Yaka.
The song, which was released in 2018 and became successful, prompted Kasita to call him again to write Mwoto, her collabo with Cindy Sanyu which also turned into a hit. Mudra stated however that his relationship with Karole Kasita was very complicated though he attributes the fallout to her former manager Joram Lukisa who used to mislead Kasita.
According to him, for each song, Kasita would pay Mudra Sh500k. It is very shocking that he states he wrote for her songs like Mwoto, Binyuma, Yaka, Baby Papa with Daddy Andre, and Balance among others.
His issue however is that Kasita used to pay him in a manner that was quite tedious. Sometimes, the money would delay, other times, it would be in installments and there is also a time when she didn't pay at all. According to him, he also collaborated with Kasita on “Nkuwulira” but she didn't promote the song.
