It is indeed a cold morning today as Nowviba wishes to inform you of the passing of Badru Katongole, a big supporter of the National Unity Platform (NUP) and a political aspirant who had shown interest and was standing for the position of member of Parliament for Bukoto Central.
He died in a motor accident as they were on the way to bury the late Dr. Anas Kaliisa who passed on Wednesday night at his home in Kawempe and burial was scheduled today in Ntugamo District.
Dr. Kaliisa was a political analyst who had his show every Sunday at 4pm on NBS television and was also the head of Salaama Charity, an organization part of the Next Media group.
The body of the late Badru Katongole has been taken to Masaka hospital and while his friends that he was with in the car are getting treatment at the same hospital.
