After intense international pressure, Nigerian stars, Tems and Omah Lay have been set free according to Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Luke Owoyesigire.
The two singers together with their team may fly out of the country possibly by night time tonight via the Entebbe International Airport in Wakiso District.
The charges of were dropped by an order from the Government of Uganda
The Ugandan promoters who brought the singers into the country have however been left in the Kitalya prison as they deal with the pending case in court.
Omah Lay and Tems have been behind bars in Uganda for atleast 2 cold nights now where they had been sent to for breaking the law in the country.
They two broke the law concerning Covid-19 guidelines that were set by the government of Uganda earlier this year to combat the spread of the Corona virus disease.
