The National Unity Platform campaign team seems to face new challenges everyday from the police and military. From constant road blocks to tear gas, arrests among others.
Today while the camp was heading to Kamuli, a few minutes to their next venue, Budondo, they got blocked by heavy police and we're forced to divert to a small path.
NUP leader and flag bearer Robert Kyagulanyi in his Facebook post claims these are all plans of sending him and his his team to a killing spot by the military. The road blocks were on orders of Frank Mwesigwa, Odokchen, Hiriga and Mugarura. These officers immediately arrested the NUP team, teargassed many and beat up others.

Kyagulanyi and the team were not able to make it to Jinja and he continued to say that "I Know Electoral commission is watching this criminality but conspicuously."
