Leader of the Fishermen cabinet and Uganda’s Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja has severely been trolled on social media after she suggested on National Television that Kenya experiences winter. Nabbanja who also doubles as the first ever female Prime minister in the Banana Republic Uganda made the statement while appearing on NBS Television’s local political talk show dubbed Barometer that is hosted by Zambali Bulasio Mukasa. Nabbanja made the statement in an attempt to justify that Uganda experiences better weather as of compared to its neighbor in the East.
"We have a very good country compared to other countries, just go to Kenya here and see. They have winter and we don’t” Nabbanja said. Many Ugandans and Kenyans took to social media in wonder of where the Prime-minister got her information because Kenya is very close to the equator to experience winter!
This has been the second controversial but rather humorous scenario where the Prime minister has taken socialmedia by storm in a space of just days. The first time was through an address to the press when she ran out of words and said it on camera in addition to almost falling off her office chair.
