Bivulu (Event) promoters, Bajjo, Balaam and Abitex have teamed up in Gulu District to also have a share of the national cake.
This is after musicians who are now loitering allover Gulu City seemed to have eaten their share of the national cake if we are to go by word on the streets.
For example, legendary musician Jose Chameleone is rumoured to have sold all his music catalogue from 20 years ago till date to General Saleh's sponsored UgaTunes app at UGX.3.5 billion, a rumour the musician has since denied.
So in a rare turn of events, the 3 most prominent Ugandan events promoters drove all the way to Gulu to also see how they can tap into this money that is flying around.
Have the promoters also come to beg
Bajjo speaking on behalf of them said their mission is not to beg for money but they intend to engage General Salim Saleh on the way forward for the event promotion businesses they all run.
He said, him, Abitex and Balaam have come to Gulu to ask the General to allow them stage concerts on big days at the end of the year.
These days include, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day which used to be celebrated to the brim before Corona came into the picture.
Bajjo further stated that he is ready to stage only online concerts if that is the way the new normal is but would be much more interested in the physical concerts.

It was a huge suprise to see the promoters as one
The 3 promoters who are always bickering over each other, are rarely seen together and I can confirm this is the first time in years all the three have sat on one table to agree on something.
In the previous years, for example in 2019 it was always Balaam who is in NRM political party Vs Bajjo and Abitex who were always in Bobi Wine's people power.
The height of their disagreements came in during the organisation of musical concerts in 2019. The two (Bajjo and Abitex) confirmed having made severe losses amounting to millions of shillings over the cancellation of Bobi's concerts.
They further went ahead to accuse Balaam as being the mastermind behind all their flopped Bobi Wine concerts that Uganda Police was cancelling every now and then due to petty reasons.
