Remember a one Muhamood Kabanda? The man who accused Old Kampala Hospital for harvesting his kidney?
Well, latest news on our desk indicates that the 25 year old gentleman was actually born without the second kidney!
According to Professor Kiguli Malwadde, a radiologist at Kampala Imaging Center who carried out an abdominal scan on Kabanda, he was diagnosed with Renal Agenesis, a medical condition that got him born with only the right kidney.
Last week, kabanda opened a case at Old Kampala Police station with claims that his kidney was removed when he went for treatment at Old Kampala Hospital following a injuries sustained during an accident.
After a Rollercoaster of surgeries in the theater by Dr Alex Mugalu, Kabanda said he moved out with a wound on his forehead and another on his abdomen something that got him thinking that his organs were harvested!
He went ahead to go and hold scans and they revealed that he had one kidney something that got him reporting at Police. His earlier surgeon had explained the he got body tissues from the abdomen to cover his head injuries but he couldn't prove!
Wen matters got to Police, investigations were launched into the matter and Abdominal Pelvis CT scan and brain CT scan were conducted hence conclusion that the fact is he was born with one kidney and none of his organs were harvested!
