Once upon a time, the name Rabadaba made headlines in the musical streets, however today, the once mighty singer Rabadaba has been away for a while.
Rabadaba who recently relocated to the United Kingdom to settle with his family now offers advise to the entire industry. In one of his recent interviews on a local television station, the Mukyamu singer branded Uganda a third world country that is still very backward before stating why he chose to relocate.
"To be honest without beating around the bush, Uganda is a third world country and still backward. These whites are moving very fast." he said He added that the only way Uganda can catch up is by copying the whites and its why he chose to relocate so as to learn from them and capture a wider global market musically.
With Rabadaba choosing to relocate for a better reach of his music, the big question which remains is will he live up to the promise or his rant is another like those of other artists that leave the country for other ventures but keep reffering to the,mselves as musicians?
