Singer Rema Namakula has been in the news multiple times over Netizens questioning her character. Many times,, she has been called rude and very harsh.. Even when she had just left Eddy Kenzo, he pointed out that Rema was not as easy of a person as she seemed when she was with her fans. He attached hostility to her name and he is recalled to have labelled her rude as well.
Currently, the latest incidence is a video that has now gone viral since its appearance online.
In the video, Rema is beautifully dressed in gomesi performing at a wedding but while she performs, she is ignoring instructions from those that hired her. The video which is originally from a TikTok account of a one Slimdaddy has a voice over of a man who claims to be the one that invited her to the wedding.
In the video, he says Rema is not afraid to show her terrible character in front of people. He mentions that he had already shown her where to pass to go pick the bride, and he even took it upon himself and returned the second time to share the instruction with her again to save time. According to him, she practically stopped singing, yelled back at him, gave a small jeer and continued singing like nothing had happened. The man is also heard saying in Luganda “Ono falla ye’elaga! Kafalla ke’elaga.” Meaning “This fool can show off.”
Social media will however never stop amazing people because however much some people condemned her for doing such silly things, others defended her saying she is also human and therefore she is allowed to have mood swings just like everyone else.
A one Natasha Siima mentioned that Rema is known for despising people and however much she hates that kind of character,, Rema seems to be okay with it.
“I think she has a tendency of despising people, which is a character I personally can’t stand.” Said Natasha Siima.
A one Akodoi Kevin Amka came out however and mentioned that even the people who were Judging her in the comment section are also humans with mood swings but that is a conversation they are not willing to have. He concluded by saying people should not be expected to be saints.
“Naye mwe, it like you all who are commenting ill about Rema don’t have another side of you. Mbu attitude. Everyone has an attitude, even you who is commenting. You forget that these are humans, who have mood swings etc. Even the one talking mu audio has shown his side people nedda. You want people to be saints.” Wrote Akodoi Kevin Amka
