Having gone Missing In Action (MIA) for close to two months, the speaker of the 11th parliament and Omolo county Member of Parliament Hon. Jacob Oulannyah seems to have returned in high gear.
The speaker who took over from his deputy about two weeks back has today during the plenary sent a warnig to all Members of Parliament whom he called unserious.
"No MP will again be allowed to speak on the floor if their presentation is light and vaguely prepared. We're past time for guessing submission. The country has its eyes glued on us, waiting for actions, what shall we tell them?" said a rather disgruntled Oulanyah.
The speaker also gave MPs a grace period of two weeks when they've worked out plans and strategies of taking the nation forward in the next five years in office. Guess it's safe to say that this is the promised 'Kisanja akuna Mchezo.'
