Sheeba Karungi landed a money making deal that seems to have landed her in a lot of trouble. She was called by a yet to be identified gentleman who offered her loads of money for her to perform at his private party. Sheeba did not hesitate, being a money maker who knows what she wants.
Sheebah however shocked her fandom when she turned to her socials to complain about the intentions of the gentleman who booked her, saying he was only after her. Sheebah recollects that as she sat in her car to wait her turn to perform, the gentleman approached her and tried to have his way with her, caressing her all over, without her permission.
Sheebah expressed her dissatisfaction and mentioned that men should stop onjectifying women and attach some respect to them. Many of her followers however attributed her harassment case to her scanty dress code, something others do not agree with.
Spice Diana has however come out to give Sheebah Karungi a piece of advice, telling her to always walk with a very big team and also include bouncers for security to avoid such incidences from happening again. Spice mentioned that many people judge her lifestyle but she only hired bodyguards for security, not for showbiz like many people believe.
"For every gig I get, I move with my whole team. How can you even try to take advantage of me when I’m with a team of more than nine people,” she cautioned.
She also mentioned that she has also been faced with such scenarios as many people have terrible intentions that they do not show from the word go but if an artiste has security, there is no way to attack them.
"I have been in such scenarios where clients book you to perform for them, yet in reality, they want you as a person. They will show feelings but won’t rape you, so it’s up to you as a woman to tell them what you want,” Spice said.
However, many people will always justify men's character and blame sexual harassment on a woman's dress code rather than a man's insolence. The day this will stop, the World will be a better place, most especially for victims of sexual harassment.
