The dead are not dead! Heavy gust of wind carries away the tent shedding the casket of the deceased speaker Jacob Oulanya
    • April 8, 2022 • 3 years ago

The dead are surely not dead. This was proven by mourners yesterday on the 8th of April 2022 as the body of former speaker the Lake Jacob Oulanya L'Okori was finally being laid to rest. Events were moving on as planned and everything was going well until a heavy gust of wind came from no where and blew away the tent that was a shed for the casket.

The tent was driven away, all the way to the tent that was shedding the mourners. The security personals ran after the tent and managed to capture it before it could cause more damage because reportedly, one person was injured during this scuffle.

As our traditional culture still reigns however, many have interpreted this 'strange wind’ incident as showing that Oulanyah’s soul had not yet rested, considering the weather did not even turn cloudy and the weather was very hot.

“Well…we’ve had an interruption. Strong wind blew away the tent that was  shed to the coffin of the late Jacob Oulanyah, which…in Luo tradition…shows clearly that something is not right and the spirit of the dead is really not rested,” said a commentator live on state broadcaster UBC.

Many also took this as a warning from the deceased to everyone who had a hand in his demise. According to the late Speaker's father, his son must have been poisoned. He made this allegation during the burrial Infront of all the mourners, asserting that his son did not die due to cancer.
