Pastor Bugembe's concert 'Katonda wabanaku' was indeed a tale to tell. When Pastor Bugembe appeared on stage, his long term supporter and friend Mama Fiina rushed to the stage and started showering him with volumes of money notes. He was seen nearly collapsing as the money showered his body and scattered all around his feet. Pastor Bugembe was seen going down on one knee to receive this money.
This made many critic raise eyebrows as they mentioned that Pastor Bugembe stooped too low for money that he even knelt before a traditional healer and a witch, taking her money to do God's work. He also received criticism about inviting secular music artistes to perform on a gospel concert, something that did not go well with some revelers.
Among the many who took offence was House of Prayer Ministries head pastor, Pastor Aloysious Bugingo who came out to say that Pastor Bugembe should repent for sinning Infront of Christ because the Bible clearly mentions that every knee shall bow before God yet Bugembe's knee bowed before a witch instead.
Pastor Bugingo was very bitter about it as he mentioned that he went to the depths of hell just to get money from a witch whom he had no right to kneel before as a man of God. He also mentioned that he was against calling secular musicians who are sinners to a gospel concert. Tuff B, a television presenter has however come out to disagree with Pastor Bugingo about this issue.
Tuff B mentioned that Jesus came to earth to die for the sinners and not to dwell with the righteous holier than thou white sheep! He told Pastor Bugingo that he had no right to talk about sinners given that he is a sinner too.
" So you judge another pastor for staging a concert and having “SINNERS” like u call them. Jesus said I have not come to call the RIGHTEOUS but sinners to REPENTENCE Church is a HOSPITAL for SINNERS not a MUSEUM for SAINTS." Said Tuff B.
