During an interview with Spark TV,Businessman Emmanuel Lwasa came out and said to singer Baza Baza that he ended his relationship with Vanessa Vanny so that young men like singer Baza Baza can also get a chance to date her.
“Young boys need to understand old men. I was the one supposed to take Vanessa. She is my wife. But I left her for them. Aren’t they with her?” Lwasa said while speaking to Spark TV.
Lwasa And Vanny met about six months ago when he was battling typhoid at Nakasero Hospital in Kampala. She took care of him while he was bedridden and the foundation for their relationship was laid.
“I met Vanessa when I was at the hospital about six months ago… She showed discipline and took care of me when I was bedridden yet she is not my wife,” Lwasa said in a recent interview.
This happened as Lwasa was ending his romance with Angel Kwakunda.
But the relationship with Vanessa had a sad ending after she aborted their wedding which was to take place on October 29. Lwasa claimed she had taken his Shs30 million to plan pre-wedding functions, but he was shocked when she canceled the introduction ceremony. Days later, they started abusing each other through media interviews as Vanessa mentioned that she did not receive Uch money from Lwasa and she could not get married to a man who could never respect her mother.
Baza Baza, real name Michael Nyanzi, has been spotted at hangouts with Vanny though he denied being romantically involved with her, saying they are just close friends. According to him, they knew each other before she even met Lwasa. It is ironic however that before she called off her wedding to Lwasa, she was never seen anywhere with him.
“I’ve always known her. She is my friend from way back. We are bound by many things. We both hail from Masaka,” he said.
On what he knows about her that other people don’t, mentioned that She is a good person who has no problem with anyone at all.
