    Uganda loses hosting rights

    Uganda loses hosting rights
    • December 15, 2020 • 4 years ago

While the country continues to trend for "negative reasons" worldwide, the results don't seem to be positive either.

Next year in December, the pearl of Africa was slated to host the International Conference on AIDS $  STIs in Africa (ICASA) but unfortunately, we lost the hosting rights.

The reasons for taking away the hosting from us were insecurity and the nation being in a state of political instability, which according to the organisers, it was not conducive for the event to happen.

Well, as we near the election early January next year, let's hope we don't continue to lose out on more, God forbid the MAMAS that are set to happen in February.
