On Wednesday this week, FUFA a body that governs all football in Uganda declared Vipers SC, a local football club, the winners of the Uganda Premier League Season 2019/20.
This was a likely move by FUFA but it was not really expected by the public given that the team behind Vipers SC in term of points was so close by.
KCCA was second to Vipers on the table and it was only 4 points behind the table leaders. Many people considered the governing body's decision to be very unfair saying that it should have been patient and fix the remaining games in the near future.
But Moses Magogo the current FUFA president who was reading the body's decision said that it was in the laws of FUFA. Any team that is ahead of the others in terms of points and has played 75% of their games is allowed to be declared winners incase the league cannot be played due to an act of God.

Liverpool that is clear of the other teams at the top of the table by a whooping 25 points was nearly going to win the premier league this season only for Corona to come out of nowhere and bring the whole world to a stand still, especially the world of sports.
