Bruno K lost his baby mama Racheal Nasasira in December 2021 after it was made clear that she had suffered from an unknown disease, mentioning that it was a long term health conplication. By then, there were talks amongst relatives of the deceased that Bruno K could not take care of his child after all he had abandoned his baby mama even when she was still alive. As talks went on and Bruno was about to lose custody of his daughter, Faridah walked into the picture as a super hero.
Nakazibwe started staying with the Musician's daughter, Brielle, after the mother, Rachael Nasasira passed on. She mentions that in the beginning, she did not intend to date him but rather was friends with him after he promised her that he was to sing a song about her, entitled 'Faridah'. She mentioned that she could not let Bruno Live with a child on his own when he could not even prepare her a descent meal. Having learnt that Racheal had died, she decided to step in and be a motherly figure to Brielle.
"Bruno became my friend promising he's going to sing a song titled Faridah. We became friends when he needed help with a child. Young man. He is single. When he told me my baby mama is sick and they are going to give me my child to stay with her. I asked him, what are you going to do with the kid? Are you going to live with her in your situation? You have nowhere to start from, you may not even know how to cook. bring her here," Nakazibwe said in an interview.
She mentioned that it was not hard to form a bond with Brielle because they liked each other from the very beginning. Faridah said that when Brielle noticed Her children calling her mummy, she also caught on the trend and started calling her mummy just like everyone else did.
"When they brought the baby, she is so sweet, very adorable. My children liked her a lot, I liked her. She heard by kids calling me mummy and she also started calling me mummy... so, when the mother died, she now knows me as mummy."
This is when Faridah Nakazibwe mentioned that she and Bruno have always been good friends despite the ongoing rumors about their relationship. Faridah mentioned that she could not come out to comment on every rumor that came out against her because many eyes are on her and many people look up to her. When asked whether a man and woman could truly just be friends, she had this to say,
"yes, definitely. Am I not in the same position with Bruno?" She asked
Netizens are however finding it difficult to agree with her considering the fact that the lyrics to the song 'Faridah' that Bruno dedicated to her speak differently and they are filled with romance .
