Ugandan singers, Ykee Benda and Lydia Jazmine have failed to convince their fans that they just got married to each other.
In a bombardment of photos yesterday, Ykee and his new Wife, Lydia released photos of a purported Kwanjula event that they were involved in.
The Kwanjula was well lit and pictures were extra clear but however, we didn't set our eyes on the "Bako" meaning inlaws. It's like there was no one at the kwanjula and the two were just kwanjulating themselves just. (my own words hehe)
Reactions from the fans
Their fans from across the country weighed in and many of them said they were not willing to waste their congratulations on a stunt.
Citing the recent Kwanjula ceremony of TV presenter Diana Nabatanzi, they said they were not willing to waste their time congratulating another celebrity couple until they find out the real truth whether the relationship is fake or real.
Diana Nabatanzi last month got introduced in a Kwanjula and everyone was pretty excited how she had given her ex-boyfriend, Lwasa an equaliser only for sad news to pour in indicating that the whole thing was part of a video shoot for her upcoming movie 'Akalya Amaggwa'.
But why not, aren't both Ykee and Lydia single
Lydia Jazmine and Ykee Benda are known as the singlest musicians (if that word exists) in the whole Ugandan music industry.
At one point, Ykee Benda was named the president of all single men in Uganda just after holding the position of Vice-president in Eddy Kenzo's love nigga Republic, a group formed after Kenzo had broken up with ex-wife Rema.
On the other hand, Lydia Jazmine in recent times also revealed that she is very single and hasn't met the man of her spec yet. In an interview with Prim Asiimwe of Galaxy FM, last year, Lydia revealed how she wants a man with lots of money.

So it's now up to Ykee Benda to measure the weight of his wallet and see how far he can go with a spendthrift like Lydia Jazmine.
