On Christmas day, Singer Ykee Benda offered 500 bursaries for the under privileged children of the community at Golden High School Nsagu in Kajjansi, Wakiso District.
This was after the Mpaka Records boss bought shares in the school and became one of the directors.
Ykee Benda made the revelation through his social media and explained the school will not only focus on normal curriculum but also the newly integrated creative and performing arts curriculum.
"On Christmas Day afternoon in Nsagu village Kajjansi Wakiso district I was introduced as one of the new directors of GOLDEN HIGH SCHOOL NSAGU.
With so much pleasure we introduced ourselves with a bang of 500 bursaries for the under privileged of the community.
Golden under our leadership is going to focus not only on the normal curriculum but also the newly integrated creative and performing arts curriculum.
As we all know today , you need more than a degree , you need to be practical, you need have talent(we all do) , you need confidence , this is something that’s very dear to me as Chemical Engineer myself who went for music as career choice .
Come join us as we build Uganda through either supporting these young kids or bringing your own child to learn away to thrive in this new modern world .
