    " I will ask courts to pardon him." President Museveni.

    President Museveni has promised the people of kisoro to step into the matters involving General Kale Kayihura. 

    This promise was made as he was campaigning in Kisoro district. 

    One of the supporters at his campaign asked him to pardon the former Inspector General of police claiming that he has been the most prominent campaigner for the president. 

    In turn, the president promise to talk to the army court to pardon him. 

    General Kale Kayihura was sacked from the police by the president after it was said "bean weevils" had entered the police and destroyed it.

    This was also the period were the boda boda 2010 gang came to an end. 

    These people had made their streets their own and tortured citizens of the country. 

    It was also rumored that the former IGP had ties to them and used them to do some of his dirty work during demonstrations and riots.
