Ugandan faded musician, Elvis Kirya alias Vampino has come out to thank NUP chief, Bobi Wine for his role in securing his release from a Jamaican prison.
A few days ago, Vampino had announced how he was to leave the country but declined to say where and why only to hear that he had been detained at a Jamaican prison in Montego Bay.
Desperate, he cried out for help ftom any Ugandan to visit the embassy and aid his release, a favour Bobi Wine quickly granted.
Relieved, the faded Swangz Avenue singer could not help praising the former Kyandodo East legislator as a people's person.
He claimed that the reason Jamaican authorities threw him in a cell was because they do not have hotels to keep visitors.
"The reason I was put there is because they had no fight direct to Africa so they threw me in jail instead of a hotel." he complained.
