Last week, Uganda Musicians Association announced its election nominations at the National Theatre.
There are many positions being contested for but the presidency spot is one that’s being eyed most and by two of Uganda’s finest artists, Cindy Sanyu and King Saha. The two expressed their interest in the associations top office by picking nomination papers in the watch of the media , Cindy picked hers on Friday afternoon while King Saha picked his on Saturday afternoon.
It’s still not known whether there is still someone else warming up for the presidency position but as of now, Cindy and Saha are in a tight competition. Cindy has been the past UMA president having taken over from Ykee Benda shortly after his resignation.
The big question that stands now is, who is the Real king of Uganda Musicians Association, is it the King herself Cindy or King Saha? Let’s watch the space!
