Ex Uganda presidential aspirant over the weekend during an Annual General Meeting(AGM) at St. Mary's College Kisubi(SMACK) fell out with the school over unfair treatment of his son known as Kampala Solomon.
Having kept quiet for over a month after news of his son's suspension leaked to the media, the opposition politician expressed his concerns as a parent at the AGM.
He talked about how his son was framed for things he did not do and later served with a punishment. Solomon his son, was given a 2-week suspension in early February for allegedly smoking weed at the Kisubi based Catholic School.
Bobi Wine said that the administration planted drugs around Solomon's bed and in his suitcase in order to embarass Bobi Wine (the father) which they successfully did.
The information surrounding the son's suspension had been kept private for some time as the school administrators held meetings with Bobi but things changed when the headmaster, Brother Deodati Aganyira spread word to the media, detailing the student's suspension.
Apart from weed accusations, there was more
Bobi further talked about segregation of his son who revealed to him while at home that he had been barred from participating in school politics because of being a popular person's child.
When Wine contacted the school to find out how true it was, he was told by the headmaster himself that his son was not only popular, but also an average student and that politics at the school was only for "A" students in other words, bright students.
Parents at the AGM seemed to be in support of Bobi Wine's claims as they continuously cheered on as he heckled the institution's head teacher in public.

Other Ugandans on social media were also in support of Bobi Wine's claims saying that SMACK stooped so low to mistreat a young adolescent in that manner and that such a situation should have been handled better through talks and counselling sessions.
Four years ago (2018), Kampala Solomon was also in trouble when he had just gotten admitted to SMACK in senior one but at that time, he was not the victim.
The victim was a son to Makerere's Professor, Salmon Mugoda and he was accused of sexually harassing Bobi Wine's son. The professor who later took the school to court said his son was accused falsely by the school for something he did not do.
