The AstraZeneca vaccine is being used in Uganda to vaccinate people
A video has been making rounds on social media showing that the Health Minister Dr. Ruth Acheng was not vaccinated as the needle did not enter her body.
The picture where she showed slight pain on her facial expression has been deemed as an act.
Question is, is the so called vaccine safe?
Reports coming in are Denmark has suspended the use of the same vaccine because it is causing blood clots in patients that have been vaccinated.
In Australia, the vaccine was banned after it killed two people who received it.
In Italy, the vaccine was banned from being imported into the country after hearing of the complaints from neighbouring countries.
South Africa too banned the vaccine after one death occurred and it was investigated in linked backed to the vaccine
The UK had also banned it but the reason they gave was that they want to use their own. Whether this is true or not, no one really knows.
If all the above countries are experiencing all these issues, why is the government of Uganda distributing these vaccines to the locals and remote areas?
Influencers have been paid to get vaccinated and promote the vaccine on social media because Ugandans do not trust their own government.
The vaccine might have been approved but that does not mean it is safe .
Will you receive a shot of the vaccine or not?
The vaccine does not prevent you from getting corona. You can still get sick even when you are vaccinated.
