Makerere University scraps off courses from University.
    • March 29, 2021 • 4 years ago

In  a letter from the Vice Chancellor to numerous heads of departments and colleges, some courses have been removed and those applying for the year 2021/2022 will not be able to do them.

A number of courses such as bachelors in community psychology, bachelors of science in quantitative economics, bachelors of science in horticulture, bachelors of science in meteorology among many others have been removed.

Most of these courses are science courses.

Many students are confused on what happens to those who are already studying the mentioned courses.

No official communication has been made to them.

Numerous heads of department who spear headed the above courses are also afraid they will be of no use thus losing their jobs.

Many hope that the university will come out to clear the mess  with official communication on what is happening.
