Last night in a televised state address, the president of Uganda, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni came out to assure Ugandans how they only have 2 months to freedom.
He said, the economy will be fully reopened come next year (2022) in January with all sectors resuming normal activity meaning curfew will eventually be lifted entirely, schools will all open and events will all be allowed to happen at maximum capacity like it was in 2019 and the preceding years.
The president said that whether we have the vaccinated numbers which are targeted or not, he will forcefully open the economy back to its normalcy.

It's from here where he added that "If anything goes wrong, the moral responsibility is yours," meaning it's up to you as an individual to get vaccinated to avoid severe covid illness literally saying "Mwe Abamanyi" (you're on your own).
What about curfew
While many Ugandans have observed that curfew is extremely useless, the president did not even whisper anything about it yesterday meaning we are stuck to going back home at 7pm until January.
This got many frustrated especially the people who used to make money mostly at night before all this Corona began. People like musicians, bar attendants, bouncers and the likes and ofcourse even other businesses like supermarkets that used to be open 24 hours a day.
Museveni joins the Bachwezi
Towards the end of the address, the president joined his son, Muhoozi Kainerugaba who has recently made remarks concerning the Bachwezi.
Muhoozi earlier this week made mention of them saying that the whole of Uganda contains only descendants from the Bachwezi people who were here some thousands of years ago.
He said this while warning the recent wave of terrorists that have been throwing around small bombs according to him.
So Museveni joined him yesterday saying that “I am the first person in my family to be in the government. No one in my family had been in government. But we have been here from the time of the Bachwezi.”
He said this as he was also sending a warning to the terrorists who caused loss of life and injury to innocent Ugandans earlier this week at a pork joint in Komamboga and on a "Swift" bus in Mpigi District as it was heading to Kampala.
