The High Court Judge His Worship Emmanuel Baguma has given permission to the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) to impound the bullet proof car belonging to Robert Kyangulanyi alias Bobi Wine.
The judge said that they (URA) checked and evaluated the car as an ordinary car not knowing it was special since it is bullet proof.
Bullet proof cars and ordinary cars do not go through the same checks and tax payment.
Judge also added that Mr. Kyangulanyi had failed to prove it is his only car and means of transportation which will affect his normal business.
Last month, Mr. Kyangulanyi and his team of lawyers wanted a court injunction to stop URA from impounding his car but failed to get one.
The lawyers also wrote to URA saying they had cleared the car and given it to the owner.
They therefore have no right to call back property that left their hands.
