The electronic production of ‘Sasi ku nyama’ is a perfect match for Winnie Nwagi’s smooth and sultry vocal style. She grabs the listener with her first lines and the swinging focal instrumentation is right on the money these days. It perfectly shows off Nwagi’s huge potential after huge successes from songs like ‘Jangu’ that came before.
In this video, Winnie maintains the nonchalant and sexy image with heavy facial expressions and minimal effort to shake as it comes naturally to her as we have seen in most of her recent videos. Luckily it compliments the video as she dances with her crew calling out to her lover whom she lap dances midway the video.
The video is colourful ride through fields and back of the lorry box, passing all kinds of night life scenes, with Winnie leading the crew. The camera work has some eye catching moments and the choreography scenes are a highlight. Let’s hope this helps the track climb the charts more, because this is way too good to not become a continental smash.
Shot by Aaoronaire the choice of costumes matches the focal choice of instrumental and keeps the touch of Ugandaness clear however the down side in the choice of script to depict the lyrics. If you ask me the director would have choosen another choice of collage.
