Big Size Bebe Cool a popular Ugandan musician has been having a rough time since last Friday during the Turus Riley Concert where he received the shock of his life.
Angry revellers who were in attendance decided to chase the musician from the Stage that fateful Friday after throwing a lot of times at the man including bottles with urine over his failure to show any remorse for his long time friend Bobi Wine.
After the incident , Bebe did not seem moved by the actions of any of the revellers and as usual did not have kind words for them because they do not have a right to influence his opinion.
Well if you didn't know, Bebe loves the current government and has been attacking an unwell Bobi Wine who opposes it with only unkind statements which opinion doesn't go down well with most people around him especially revellers at his shows.
Today , the man himself has decided to leave music until the atmosphere calms down and he wrote the lengthy statement below ;
My name is Moses Bebe Cool Ssali, a Ugandan by birth, a muganda, a muslim, a father, a husband, a brother, a son and a friend to many. I have been in the music business for more than 20 years now and i am proud to say that i have made a great contribution to the development of the Ugandan, East African & African entertainment industry. It gives me great pride to witness several young musicians, comedians, instrumentalists and promoters make a fine living in this entertainment industry. In this same industry, i have built a life for myself, my family, friends and many dependants.The current fruits from this industry would not have existed if Uganda did not have peace, freedom, tranquillity and tolerance for each others' religious, political and cultural beliefs.
