Rapper Gravity Omutujju has been at longer heads with musician turned politician Bobi Wine for the longest time now. It is therefore no surprise that Gravity is always in disagreement with every thing Bobi has to say, most especially when it comes to the livelihood of musicians in Uganda.
Bobi Wine came out to state that the Government was wasting the 13 billion by allocating it to musicians instead of allocating it to more developmental issues like the welfare of Ugandans. Bobi stated that instead of adding onto Musicians that were already earning from their music, it would be wiser to construct hospitals for people.
Gravity however did not agree on this issue as he stated that there are already too many hospitals in the Country. He stated that Bobi Wine should understand that constructing more will not only be congestion but a display of lack of faith in healing that comes from Jesus Christ.
"There are enough hospitals. Constructing many hospitals makes it look like you want more people to fall sick. We don’t need hospitals. We just need faith. You just have to have faith and believe people don't have to fall sick. They will then be free from any illness.” Said Gravity.
Gravity made a point that not every Ugandan musician is well off so some musicians do need the money that was allocated to them by the government. He mentioned that Bobi Wine is rich enough to construct a hospital single handedly so if he feels the urge to contribute to development, he should construct a hospital in his hometown.
"Bobi Wine is rich. Why can't he use some of his money to construct a hospital people can use? He is a very rich man. Let him use his money. Let him first construct a hospital in his home area, even if it is a small one; then he can come to advise us about constructing hospitals." Said Gravity
