Former opposition stronghold and Forum for democratic Change party president Rt. Col. Dr. Kiiza Besigye has come out with full fledged demands and requested the government to immediately open up the edication sector and let learners continue accessing education.
While addressing the media at the Kololo office, Dr. Besighye who seemed rather angered by the continued postponding of schools re-openning, said the government has no believable justification for oclosing the education sector for close to two years.
"There's absolutely no justification for the measures that have been taken. It is common knowledge that the least vulnerable are the young. Even those who'll get symptoms will get minor symptoms. It's the teachers that are more vulnerable, focus on those ones." said Dr. Besigye.
The reader out there should however note that the president while easing the lockdown on 31st/July said schools will only open when majority of learners are vaccinated. Over to you, what do you think about the Dr's submission?
